Personal reasons or choice
We understand that sometimes life throws up twists and turns in personal circumstances which may lead some mothers to choose to live apart from their child. Maybe you left the family home because you felt you could not live there anymore or you needed to develop yourself personally or professionally.
It could be that you intended to return to your child or set up home elsewhere but by the time you were ready for your child to join you, the precedent had been set and your child stayed in the family home. Some mothers simply feel that full time motherhood is not for them.
In MATCH we do not judge the reasons why women live apart from their children. If you join MATCH you will find a place to freely express how you feel and an opportunity to develop strategies to live unashamedly with the day to day life of being a mother apart.
